One Speaking Gig & Two New Interviews

So excited to have participated in my very first author gig earlier this month. My friend Nicole Caron, a professor at Ringling College of Art & Design, invited me to speak with her Storytelling class on October 8, 2013, about my path to publication (and some of the bumps and bruises I experienced along the way). It was such an honor to spend time with such a creative, dynamic and passionate group of college students. Nicole will be sharing their feedback and class discussions with me soon, and I will be sure to pass along some highlights to you!

I'm also very excited about two blog interviews about my debut novel ESSENCE that have just gone live this week. The first is an Author Slambook interview with Erleen Alvares: "StrangeChem Author Slambook: Lisa Ann O'Kane." Please stop by for a chance to win an early copy of ESSENCE!

The second is an interview with the lovely Darke Conteur called, "Who's Your WIP: ESSENCE, by Lisa Ann O'Kane." Please visit for a chance to read an actual excerpt of ESSENCE. This is the very first time I have shared pages with anyone; top secret stuff until this moment!

Thanks so much for your support, and I hope you have a wonderful afternoon!
